My name is Xiaobin Li, a designer based in California. For the last two years, I have worked as an industrial and UX designer at BloomSky Inc., Burlingame, a company which is dedicated to the development of IoT weather stations and weather data services to both consumers and enterprise clients. I am also the co-founder and chief executive of a design podcast, YinengFM LLC., Pasadena. YinengFM’s purpose is to share design knowledge and thinking with the public by providing in-depth interviews with professional designers and educators.
On the other hand, I am a person who never tire of seeking new experiences. In the Summer of 2014, I cycled to Lhasa from Chengdu, China, by climbing across 14 mountains over 13,000 ft and pedaling 1,346 miles in 30 days. By the end of 2015, I spent weeks serving critically ill patients in Mother Teresa’s house in Calcutta, India. All these experiences not only helped me gain a better understanding on the world, but they also instilled me with more empathy.
Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in my work or want to have a talk. Enjoy!
